Infant Street at Little Village Home Child Care LLC, our children’s age ranges from 6 weeks to 16 months of age. Little Village Home Child Care LLC believes that every child is unique in their own way. We focus on meeting each child’s educational needs in a nurturing, trusting, fun learning environment.

An infant curriculum is learned through play which will meet the individual need of that child. Although we have themed weeks, activities are created to each child’s learning goal set by the teacher and parent, and throughout the observation of growth. Teachers create observations daily to ensure appropriate planned activities. Activities that are structured around infant and teacher bonds, physical skills, and sensory experiences. We practice Tummy Time, allowing them to lay on their stomach while awake and supervised. This helps your baby develop their arm, chest and neck muscles and promotes motor skills, while also preventing the flattening of the back of the head. Tummy Time also helps infants build their strength needed for sitting up, rolling over, crawling, and walking. We have also recently implemented Baby Sign Language in our curriculum, where a child communicates basic needs and wants using sign language.

One thing that sets us apart is that we provide diapers, wipes, and food for your infant. This means fewer things for parents to worry about in the morning as they pack up for school.
